Dr. Ghaly received his high school diploma at the prestigious Collége De La Salle in 1967, and graduated from medical school in Cairo, Egypt in 1974. He is fluent in French, English, and Arabic. He worked as a general practitioner in Egypt until he immigrated to the US in 1977 where he completed his psychiatric residency at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY. He is now double board certified in psychiatry and neurology, with an additional board certification in sleep medicine. Additionally, he studied Chinese medicine with a focus in herbal remedies and acupuncture. In 1984 he became a licensed acupuncturist and opened the Acupuncture Center of Upstate New York. Over the years, Dr. Ghaly has become clearly recognized by his colleagues and the community as an expert in treating a multitude of psychiatric disorders and has established several treatment centers including the Ghaly Healing & Wellness Center, Ghaly Sleep Center, and the Ghaly TMS Center. In additional to treating psychiatric conditions, he also offers a number of alternative treatment programs which include medical marijuana, laser light therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy, and ketamine therapy. He not only has the wide-ranging experience to provide his patients with state of the art care, but has also become well known for his compassion towards his patients and treating them with the utmost dignity.
Rajae is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Since becoming a Registered Nurse in 2009, Rajae has worked in a variety of settings in New York State. In 2009, she graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor degree of science in Nursing. In 2017, she graduated from Utica College with a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration. Rajae is fluent in Arabic, French, and English. Her modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and motivational interviewing. She is passionate about providing excellent care to the community that she has been serving and a member of since 2009. Her goal is to provide patient-centered mental health care options.
Brianna is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She became an RN in 2019 from St. Joseph's College of Nursing. She completed her BSN from LeMoyne College in 2020. During both her undergraduate and graduate studies, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. In May of 2023, Brianna graduated with her MSN from Binghamton University. She holds a certificate in Forensic Health. She has spent the majority of her nursing career working within the mental health field. She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) as well as the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA). She has volunteered for organizations including NAMI and The United Way. In conjunction with medication management, her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She is passionate about fostering a holistic healing process and utilizing a client centered approach.
Noha is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, licensed and board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. She graduated in 2013 from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City earning her masters and in 2019 completed the doctoral program. She has been in practice for eight years and has worked in both private health settings and in community clinics in multiple urban areas. She spent the last two years in Seattle, WA building a community clinic from the ground up. She has experience in treating a wide variety of conditions, including sports related injuries, women's health, digestive issues, sleep disorders, seasonal affective disorders, stress disorders, and overall well being. She takes a multidisciplinary approach to treatments, offering acupuncture and herbal medicine to alleviate symptoms while also addressing the root of each condition. What she values most about this practice is that every session offered is specifically tailored to your unique situation and needs. She aims to bring harmony and balance to all aspects of each individual patient. Noha recently returned to upstate New York and is thrilled to be back in the community. She is looking forward to building a practice with the Ghaly Wellness and Healing Center.
Kayleigh has worked at Ghaly Healing at Wellness Center since 2013. She graduated from Pomeroy College of Nursing in 2021 with her Associates in Applied Sciences in Nursing.
Our office will be closed for the Christmas holiday at noon on Monday December 23rd and will remain closed through Thursday December 26th. We will reopen for remote business hours Friday December 27th. To avoid any issues with medication refills, please make sure all requests are received by Friday December 20th.
We will also be closed on December 31-January 1 and will reopen for normal business hours on January 2nd.
